This is an Afghan specific antique piece, traditionally known as "Chesham-Mora" or "Nazar-Band". The pieces has been hand-engraved with Holy Verse of Qura'an "Ayat ul Kursi". This Ayat-e-Mubaraka has its own importance in Islam as if someone recites it, he/she will be in the protection of Almighty Allah (J). Written form of this Ayat-e-Mubaraka has the same effects. Moreover the colorful spot in piece illustrate as an eye and do not let its master to be harmed of evil eye or Jadu and talismans.
